What are the differences?




Look: to look at something directly, on purpose. We move our head or eyes to look at something.

See: to see something that we are not looking for, not on purpose. We were not looking for the object, but it was by chance that we saw it.

Watch: to look at something carefully, usually something moving. We watch something on purpose, usually for a long time.
